Specific conditions for Luxembourg
Acceptance of terms and conditions:
By signing the offer, the customer acknowledges that they have read these terms and conditions and declares that they accept them in their entirety.
Completion of works:
Additional work may be subject to extra charges. The quote is valid subject to technical approval after photos or a technical visit.
VAT in Luxembourg:
The reduced VAT rate of 3% applies to energy renovation projects, including photovoltaic installations, charging stations and heat pumps, provided that the building is more than 10 years old and the work is intended for a private main residence. If these conditions are not met, the standard rate of 17% applies. The VAT rate for batteries is 17%.
Grants for Luxembourg:
Photovoltaics:
Klimabonus programme (up to 50% subsidy on investment)
Municipal subsidies: some municipalities, such as Differdange and Pétange, offer additional assistance of up to 50% of the state subsidy (with a ceiling).
Additional social assistance is sometimes available for households in precarious situations via the National Solidarity Fund or certain municipalities.
Charging station:
Subsidies covering 50% of costs excluding VAT are available for simple and smart charging points.
Heat pump:
Also eligible for reduced VAT and specific subsidies.
Supply and delays:
Conditions relating to supply in Luxembourg may result in additional delays. In the event of installation being postponed due to limited stock, the customer will be informed in advance.
Super-reduced VAT clause in Luxembourg (3%):
Responsibility and eligibility requirements
In accordance with Luxembourg legislation in force since 1 January 2023, a super-reduced VAT rate of 3% applies to energy renovation work, in particular photovoltaic installations, electric vehicle charging stations and heat pumps, provided that: The building concerned is a private dwelling used as a main residence, And this dwelling was first occupied at least two years prior to the date of invoicing. This application is limited to a maximum amount of €50,000 including VAT per dwelling for all the work concerned.
LUXEAU ENERGIE SARL expressly draws its customers' attention to the fact that the application of the reduced rate depends on strict compliance with the conditions imposed by the Luxembourg tax authorities. Consequently, LUXEAU ENERGIE cannot be held liable in the event of refusal to apply the reduced rate or any tax adjustment.
It is therefore the customer's responsibility to check their eligibility with the relevant authorities, in particular the Land Registry and Property Administration (AED), and to ensure that they meet the conditions for benefiting from this reduced rate.
Special conditions for trade fairs:
A 15% discount is applied to the final price for all orders placed between 10 and 13 October 2025, valid only during the exhibition.
A 14-day withdrawal period applies in accordance with current legislation. The 15% discount remains valid if withdrawal does not take place within this period.
Terms and Conditions of Sale – Roofing Work
1. Scope of application
These general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) apply to all roofing services provided by our company. Any order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTC, unless otherwise stipulated in writing.
2. Quotations and orders
Quotations issued by our company are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. The order is considered firm after written confirmation from the customer, accompanied by any deposit stipulated in the quotation.
3. Prices and payment terms
The prices indicated on quotations are in euros, excluding taxes, unless otherwise stated. Payments shall be made in accordance with the terms specified in the quotation or contract. Any delay in payment shall result in penalties calculated at the legal rate in force, as well as administrative costs.
4. Changes during construction
Any request for changes during the course of the project must be confirmed in writing. Any urgent changes that are not confirmed within 48 hours of being presented verbally and/or in writing will be considered accepted, provided that such changes do not exceed 30% of the total invoice amount.
5. Lead times
The completion times for the work are provided for information purposes only and may be modified in the event of adverse weather conditions, delays attributable to the customer, or any event of force majeure.
6. Customer obligations
The customer undertakes to provide access to the site, as well as all information necessary for the proper execution of the work. Any delay or additional costs caused by a failure on the part of the customer may result in additional charges.
7. Warranties and responsibilities
Our company guarantees the quality and conformity of the work carried out. In the event of a defect or poor workmanship, the customer must report the problem in writing within 7 days of receiving the work. Our guarantees do not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper use, or unauthorised third-party intervention.
8. Acceptance of works
The works are accepted upon completion, after joint approval by our company and the client. Any reservations must be noted on the acceptance report.
9. Termination and cancellation
In the event of cancellation of an order by the customer after confirmation, cancellation fees corresponding to the expenses incurred and work already carried out will be charged.
10. Intellectual property
The plans, studies and documents provided by our company remain our exclusive property and may not be used without our prior consent.
11. Confidentiality
The information exchanged between the customer and our company is confidential and will not be disclosed without the agreement of the parties, except where legally required.
12. Disputes and applicable law
These GTC are governed by Luxembourg law. In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution before resorting to a competent court.
